- Operate and maintain grinding machines to precisely shape and finish metal parts, ensuring adherence to blueprints and specifications.
- Perform detailed inspections of ground components using precision measuring instruments like calipers and micrometers, guaranteeing quality control.
- Select and change grinding wheels and other abrasive tools based on material type and desired surface finish, optimizing performance.
