Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site GRC technical role based in Abu Dhabi Industrial City.
The role involves overseeing the technical aspects of GRC production and installation, including reviewing designs, preparing technical drawings or specifications, and coordinating with project managers and site teams to ensure compliance with safety, quality, and project requirements.
The GRC technical professional will support material selection, quality control, and testing procedures, while providing technical guidance to internal teams and clients.
Daily tasks include monitoring manufacturing processes, resolving technical issues on site, maintaining documentation and reports, and contributing to continuous improvement of products and workflows.
The role also requires close collaboration with design, engineering, and project management teams to deliver projects on time and to specification.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong technical skills in GRC and related building materials, including understanding of manufacturing processes, installation methods, and industry standards.
- Candidates should possess skills in reading and interpreting engineering drawings, preparing technical documentation, and working with CAD or similar design tools.
- Candidates should possess skills in quality assurance and control, including inspection, testing, and adherence to safety and regulatory requirements.
- Candidates should possess project coordination skills, including planning, scheduling, and collaborating with site teams, suppliers, and clients.
- Candidates should possess strong communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly and resolve issues in a timely manner.
- Relevant qualifications such as a diploma or degree in civil engineering, materials engineering, architecture, or a related field are beneficial.
- Experience in façade systems, cladding, or precast/GRC projects in the construction industry, particularly within the UAE or GCC region, is an advantage.
- Ability to work on-site full time in Abu Dhabi Industrial City and adapt to a dynamic project environment is required.
