About This Role
Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated GRC Specialist to join our dynamic cybersecurity team.
You will contribute to the growth and delivery of Secuwall Governance, Risk, and Compliance consulting practice from the ground up.
You will advise clients on building robust security programs, achieving compliance with standards like ISO 27001, SOC2, ISO 22301, ISO 42001 and UAE regulations, and managing their cyber risk posture effectively.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in building the service offerings, and delivery methodologies
- for the GRC practice.
- Lead client engagements, providing expert advisory on risk
- management and compliance.
- Conduct risk assessments, gap analyses, and policy development for
- clients.
- Support Secuwall's internal ISO 27001, SOC2, 22301, ISO 42001
- and other certification processes, including recertifications and
- surveillance audits.
- Serve as the subject matter expert on regional data protection
- and cybersecurity laws.
Required Qualifications & Skills
- 3-5 years of experience in GRC, cybersecurity audit, or risk management.
- Strong Working knowledge of ISO 27001, NIST Cybersecurity Framework, and SOC 2.
- Familiarity of UAE Data Protection Law and other regional regulations.(e.g., NESA, DESC/ISR, ADHICS)
- Proven experience in a client-facing consulting role.
- Certifications such as CISA, CISM, CRISC, or ISO 27001, ISO42001 Lead Auditor/Implementer.
- Communication: Proficient written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to write high-quality reports and present complex technical concepts clearly.
- Language: Professional proficiency in written and spoken English.
- Problem-Solving: An analytical mindset with a passion for breaking systems and building solutions.
- Startup Mindset: A proactive self-starter who is comfortable with ambiguity, adaptable to changing priorities, and eager to contribute to building processes from the ground up.
