to join our team in Musaffah, Abu Dhabi.
This entry-level position is tailored for fresh graduates interested in building a career in procurement within the cement manufacturing sector.
The role offers hands-on experience in sourcing, vendor coordination, and supply chain support, contributing to efficient production operations.
Procurement Operations
- Assist in the sourcing of materials, spare parts, and services required for cement manufacturing operations.
- Support the procurement team in preparing purchase orders, RFQs (Requests for Quotation), and comparative statements.
- Coordinate with vendors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of goods and services.
Supplier Relationship Management
- Maintain and update supplier databases and records.
- Assist in onboarding new suppliers and conducting preliminary evaluations.
- Communicate with suppliers to clarify requirements and resolve minor issues under supervision.
Compliance & Documentation
- Ensure adherence to procurement policies and internal controls.
- Assist in maintaining proper records of contracts, quotations, and procurement documents for audit and compliance purposes.
- Learn and follow all relevant quality and safety standards.
Cost Monitoring & Reporting
- Track procurement costs and assist in identifying cost-saving opportunities.
- Support the preparation of procurement reports and dashboards on vendor performance, pricing trends, and order status.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
- Interest in procurement, supply chain, or industrial operations.
- Basic knowledge of ERP systems and Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and willingness to learn.
- Good communication skills in English; knowledge of Arabic is an advantage.
