Full Job Posting

Healf is Europe's fastest-growing company.

Number one on the FT1000, number one on the Sifted 100. From £1m to over £100m in under three years, with a small, talent-dense team and an electric culture with day one founder intensity. Now we're aiming for £1bn in the next three.

We curate the world's best wellbeing brands across The Four Pillars™: EAT, MOVE, MIND, SLEEP. That's the first chapter.

The next chapter is harder and more interesting.

We are moving from one market to many, from e-commerce to a technology platform, and from curating wellbeing to defining it. We are a health company, so we think we should act like one.

At its fullest expression, Healf redefines what wellbeing means for tens of millions of people.

About the Role

Moving from university to building your first production systems can be daunting. We understand! You will have hands-on support from experienced engineers around you to help support your learning and development.

You’ll help design, build and maintain the applications that replenish our warehouses, distribute stock internationally and directly drive the underlying key performance indicators of Healf’s business.

You will:

Learn: How to go from zero to robust working enterprise systems

Build: Cloud-native software robustly on AWS

Science: Using the latest Anthropic AI models you will bridge the gap between engineering, analytics and data science to invent genuinely smart systems

Impact: Developing intuitive user experiences people thank you directly for because it fundamentally improves how they perform their roles

As part of a small team you’ll have direct exposure to AWS infrastructure, the products, the sales and the supplier ordering data. You’ll get to meet and spend real time directly with the users of your systems.

Most importantly, you will be deploying your ideas daily with very little getting in the way of generating value.

What we're looking for

Degree in Computer Science, Electronics, Physics, Mathematics, Robotics or AI related area

A genuine passion to understand how things work, how processes interoperate and where system feedback loops might drive oscillations in business outcomes

Willing to attend our Hammersmith office 2-3 days a week

Open to travel; either to our Southampton warehouse and/or European warehouse locations so as to learn the real physical processes that we support in the warehouse operation space (~ once a year).

Nice to have

  • Have a University or hobby project you’ve worked on that you think shows just how great you are? It doesn’t have to be software specifically! We would love to hear about it so please include a link on your application!

Our hiring process

Introductory call with our Talent team (30mins)

Technical take-home and review with an Engineer (60mins)

Meeting with more of the team (30mins)

Meeting with our COO (30mins)

The Deal

We ask a great deal of the people who work here. We expect full ownership and a genuine commitment to give this chapter everything you have.

In return, we will give you the same: everything we have, invested in your growth, your wellbeing, and the defining skills of the next decade.

We have built the fastest-growing company in Europe with a team small enough that every person in it shapes the outcome. That is still true today. The next person we hire will change the trajectory of the company.
