Job Description

This role is a part of our 24-months Advance graduate program.

Your journey from graduate to future leader will be supported through structured learning programs and one-on-one mentoring with industry experts, equipping you with the tools to make a lasting impact on our organization and the nation.

As part of AECOM’s commitment to Emiratisation and in accordance with UAE labour law, only UAE Nationals with a family book will be considered for this role.

This role is fully NAFIS eligible.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the design of dry utility networks, including LV/MV power distribution, street lighting, and telecom systems.
  • Apply design and technical knowledge to contribute to high-quality outputs within project timelines
  • Perform work following agreed-upon budget and schedule guidelines, under supervision.
  • Collect and analyze information from specific discipline and interdisciplinary project BIM models as needed.
  • Utilize computer software to solve fundamental engineering problems efficiently.
  • Coordinate with Engineers from other disciplines to ensure continuity of the design process.
  • Participate in design progress and coordination meetings to contribute insights and updates. Verify and ensure the quality of model production by BIM/CAD teams, ensuring accuracy to design instructions.
  • Actively seek information and opportunities to contribute, develop efficiencies, and solve problems effectively.
  • Contributes by solving problems and applying experience or theoretical knowledge to atypical assignments.
  • Participates in the utilities digital working group and implementation of digital tools within the design process.

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical or Mechanical from an accredited University
  • Candidates must be recent 2025 or 2026 graduates to be eligible for AECOM's Graduate Program.
  • Successful applicants must have achieved a minimum GPA of 2.8 (or equivalent) and above.
