Overview
- Develop detailed MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing) project plans, encompassing scope, resources, and timelines, ensuring alignment with overall project goals.
- Conduct thorough reviews of MEP designs, drawings, and specifications, identifying potential clashes, and proposing effective solutions to optimize constructability.
- Collaborate closely with MEP engineers, contractors, and other stakeholders to facilitate seamless communication and ensure the timely execution of project activities.
- Monitor project progress against the established plan, proactively identifying and addressing any deviations or delays, and providing regular status updates.
- Prepare and maintain accurate project documentation, including schedules, reports, and meeting minutes, ensuring all information is readily accessible.
- Assist in the preparation of cost estimates, budget tracking, and change order management for MEP-related work packages.
- Perform site visits to assess progress, identify potential issues, and ensure compliance with project specifications and quality standards.
- Analyze project data and performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and contribute to the optimization of planning processes.
- Stay abreast of industry best practices, new technologies, and relevant codes and regulations to enhance planning effectiveness.
- Support the project team in the preparation of bid packages, tender evaluations, and contractor selection processes.
