Graduate Engineer I, Transportation

Halff is seeking New Graduates who will graduate in December 2026 or May 2027 for a Graduate Civil Engineer in our Tallahassee, FL location. The position will be for a General Civil Engineer interested in roadway & highway design projects. Bachelor’s Degree or Master’s Degree in Civil Engineering or ABET accredited equivalent Engineering degree

Valid Driver’s License and acceptable Driving Record

The ability to obtain an EI Certificate within one (1) year

Great communication skills

Solid relationship and team building skills

Self-motivated and strong organization skills

0 to 3 years of experience in Transportation Design for roadway & highway design projects

Experience in MicroStation and/or OpenRoads Designer

Knowledge of applicable traffic engineering/ITS, and roadway standards and methods

Multi-discipline teams to meet challenges that are often complicated by aging infrastructure and shrinking budgets.

Extensive knowledge in planning, designing and managing transportation projects to move people and goods safely and reliably.

Collaborative approach to transportation projects.
