Phocas is seeking a Graduate Designer to join its brand team on a one-year fixed-term contract.
This genuine entry-level role focuses on building an AI-enabled brand system and developing commercial design craft.
The role reports to the Head of Brand and supports templates, prompt libraries, generative workflows, and production-ready creative.
What You Will Do
- Build templates, prompt libraries, and generative workflows that help teams create on-brand assets.
- Produce creative for campaigns, product launches, digital ads, landing pages, emails, events, and sales collateral.
- Keep the asset library organised so the wider business can self-serve.
- Build and publish reusable brand assets while delivering quality work to brief and on time.
What You’ll Bring
- Strong design craft in typography, layout, colour, and visual hierarchy, demonstrated through a considered portfolio.
- Genuine curiosity about generative AI tools and a hands-on appetite to test, learn, and document effective approaches.
- Confidence using Adobe Creative Cloud and Figma.
- Motion and video skills, including After Effects or similar, are a bonus.
- Clear communication, coachability, and the ability to manage several priorities without losing quality.
Support and Development
- The role includes structured onboarding into the brand, tools, and ways of working.
- The designer will receive regular one-to-ones, creative direction, prioritised briefs, and time to experiment with AI and generative tools.
- The role provides exposure to brand decisions and is designed to support genuine professional development.
