Role Description
The Government Relations Specialist will be responsible for managing and fostering relationships with government authorities, ensuring compliance with local regulations, and representing the organization in public and governmental affairs.
Key responsibilities
include conducting regulatory research, managing permits, licenses, and documentation, and ensuring adherence to all legal requirements.
Additionally, the specialist will monitor policy developments, coordinate with internal stakeholders, and communicate effectively with government departments.
This is a full-time, on-site position located in Dubai
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Governmental Affairs and Government Relations to manage compliance and build productive networks with governmental bodies.
- Strong skills in Communication and Public Affairs to effectively represent the organization and foster partnerships with stakeholders.
- Knowledge and experience with governmental processes and regulations, especially in the Food & Beverage or retail sector, is preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to manage documentation, licensing processes, and regulatory requirements efficiently.
- Bachelor’s degree in Public Administration, Political Science, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Proven problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to adapt to diverse governmental structures.
