We’re Hiring: Government Relations Manager (GRM)

We are looking for an experienced
Government Relations Manager
to build and manage relationships with government authorities, regulators, and key public stakeholders.
This role plays a critical part in ensuring regulatory compliance and supporting business growth through effective policy engagement.
Government & Regulatory Engagement
- Build and maintain strong relationships with government agencies and regulators
- Act as the main point of contact between the company and public authorities
- Represent the company in meetings, forums, and official engagements
Policy Monitoring & Advisory
- Monitor regulatory and policy changes impacting the business
- Advise senior management on risks and opportunities
- Prepare policy briefs, reports, and recommendations
Compliance & Risk Management
- Ensure compliance with local laws and regulations
- Support internal teams on regulatory requirements
- Identify and mitigate potential risks
Advocacy & Strategic Initiatives
- Develop and execute government relations strategies
- Advocate for favorable regulatory outcomes
- Support licensing, permits, and approvals
Stakeholder Management
- Collaborate with Legal, Compliance, PR, and Operations teams
- Manage relationships with industry associations and partners
- Coordinate communications related to government matters
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Political Science, Public Policy, Law, Business, or related field
- 5–10 years of experience in Government Relations / Public Affairs / Regulatory roles
- Strong understanding of regulatory frameworks and policy processes
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to work with senior stakeholders
- High integrity and professionalism
Preferred
- Experience in government agencies, regulators, or MNCs
- Strong network within government institutions
- Background in finance/banking (a plus)
