Role Description
The Governance Specialist will be responsible for establishing, implementing, and maintaining governance frameworks, policies, and procedures that support HOSCE’s design and project oversight activities.
In this full-time, on-site role based in Jeddah, the specialist will monitor compliance with internal standards, client requirements, and applicable regulations, and will propose improvements to strengthen organizational controls.
Day-to-day responsibilities include drafting and updating governance documentation, coordinating with project and design teams to ensure adherence to governance processes, and preparing reports and dashboards for leadership.
The role also involves assessing risks, supporting internal reviews, and facilitating training or awareness sessions on governance practices.
The Governance Specialist will collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to ensure consistent application of governance standards across governmental and private sector projects.
Qualifications
- Strong skills in governance frameworks, policy development, and process documentation, with the ability to translate organizational goals into clear standards and procedures.
- Proficiency in risk identification, internal controls, and compliance monitoring, ideally within engineering, construction, design, or public-sector project environments.
- Experience in data analysis, reporting, and dashboard preparation to track governance metrics and present findings to leadership and project stakeholders.
- Effective stakeholder management, communication, and collaboration skills to work closely with project managers, designers, and external partners.
- Excellent planning, organization, and time management abilities, with attention to detail and a structured approach to managing multiple initiatives.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Public Administration, Law, Governance, or a related field; relevant professional certifications in governance, risk, or compliance are an advantage.
- Experience working with or alongside governmental entities or large private organizations in Saudi Arabia or the broader region is highly beneficial.
- Fluency in English; proficiency in Arabic is a strong advantage for engaging with local stakeholders and documentation.
