About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Governance Manager to oversee and strengthen the organization's governance framework, policies, and compliance practices.
The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring effective corporate governance, regulatory compliance, risk oversight, and policy management across the organization.
This position requires strong analytical skills, leadership capabilities, and a thorough understanding of governance principles and best practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and maintain corporate governance frameworks, policies, and procedures.
- Monitor compliance with internal policies, regulatory requirements, and governance standards.
- Support the development and execution of governance, risk, and compliance (GRC) initiatives.
- Coordinate governance committees, board meetings, and management reporting activities.
- Review organizational processes and recommend governance improvements.
- Ensure proper documentation, record management, and policy administration.
- Collaborate with risk, compliance, legal, audit, and business teams on governance matters.
- Monitor regulatory developments and assess their impact on the organization.
- Prepare governance reports, presentations, and recommendations for senior management.
- Promote a culture of accountability, transparency, and ethical business practices.

- Strong knowledge of corporate governance, compliance, risk management, and regulatory frameworks.

- High level of integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
- Strong understanding of governance best practices and internal control frameworks.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Corporate Governance, Law, Finance, Risk Management, Accounting, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in governance, compliance, risk management, audit, legal, or corporate administration roles.
- Professional certifications such as CGEIT, CGRC, ICA, ICSA/CGI, CIA, CISA, CPA, or equivalent are advantageous.
- Experience supporting governance committees, board reporting, or regulatory compliance programs is preferred.
- Knowledge of UAE regulatory and corporate governance requirements is highly desirable.
