This is a part-time hybrid role based in Abu Dhabi, with a mix of on-site and remote work.
The Governance Manager will oversee and enhance governance frameworks, ensuring compliance with regulations and organizational policies.
Responsibilities
include preparing board meeting agendas, documenting minutes, managing corporate policies, and ensuring adherence to legal requirements.
The role also involves risk assessment, monitoring company governance structures, and providing advice and insights to decision-makers regarding improvement opportunities in processes and compliance.
Qualifications
- Strong understanding of corporate governance, compliance management, and risk assessment.
- Experience in preparing formal documents such as policies, regulations, and board materials.
- Excellent organizational, analytical, and strategic planning skills.
- Proficiency in verbal and written communication, including the ability to produce clear and professional reports.
- Ability to work independently in a hybrid work environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Law, Corporate Governance, or a related field.
- Professional certifications in governance or compliance (e.g., CGEIT, ICSA) are advantageous.
