Role overview

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with procurement staff to list expected deliveries.
• Receive shipments and sign receipt paperwork; unload packages from incoming trucks.
• Inspect contents for damage and verify packages against orders and invoices, including quantity, quality, and price.
• Contact suppliers or shippers to resolve mistakes and arrange returns or replacements for unsatisfactory shipments.
• Label deliveries and allocate them to designated locations.
• Ensure invoices are signed and paid for satisfactory deliveries.
• Maintain accurate records and assist with inventory control.

Requirements and skills

• Proven experience as a receiving clerk or in a similar position.
• Experience operating forklifts and working knowledge of computer programs for data entry.
• Solid understanding of health and safety regulations; basic math and recording abilities.
• Excellent organizational skills, good communication and interpersonal abilities, and keen attention to detail.
• Good physical condition and a high school diploma.

Pay

• AED 2,500–4,000 per month.
