Optimum Golf Technologies (OGT) is the exclusive distributor and support centre for the golf industry’s leading trade and consumer technologies across the UK, Europe, Middle East, and Africa.
Main brands within the portfolio include Foresight Sports, the global leaders in launch monitors and simulator technology, and Bushnell Golf, industry leaders in distance measuring devices.
Both brands are recognised as the gold standard by golfers, golf professionals, equipment manufacturers, and media outlets.
The opportunity
Thanks to the ongoing growth of the business, we are looking for a Golf Sales Representative - The Middle East Region.
The ideal candidate will be a motivated self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced, results-driven environment.
Your key responsibilities
Identify, target, and prospect potential customers, including golf clubs, driving ranges, resorts, sports facilities, and private individuals.
Conduct thorough market research to understand customer needs, preferences, and competition.
Create and execute a strategic sales plan to achieve and exceed sales targets.
Develop a deep understanding of Foresight Sport's golf technology solutions and their unique selling points.
Effectively communicate the features, benefits, and value of our products to potential clients.
Stay updated on industry trends and competitive products to position Foresight Sport as a market leader.
Conduct compelling product demonstrations and presentations to showcase the capabilities of our technology.
Tailor presentations to address the specific needs and interests of each customer.
Cultivate and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with customers, including golf professionals, facility managers, and decision-makers.
Provide excellent customer support, ensuring their ongoing satisfaction and loyalty.
Sales Reporting and Forecasting:
Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and leads in the company's CRM system.
Prepare regular sales reports and forecasts for management review.

Skills and attributes for success

Experience working within the golf industry.
Knowledge and experience of, and a passion for, custom fitting/analysis, launch monitor technologies, golf simulators.
Ability to show previous sales success, performance vs targets, and major achievements.
Strong training or practical experience in, and knowledge of, sales principles, methods, practices, and techniques.
Strong problem identification and objection resolution skills.
Exceptional verbal communication and presentation skills.
Excellent listening skills.
Strong written communication skills.
Self-motivated, with high energy and an engaging level of enthusiasm/passion.
Ability to work individually and as part of a growing sales team.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, and to manage your time effectively.
High level of personal integrity and work ethic.
A passion for sales roles, opportunity qualification, pre-call planning, making calls, relationship development and management, and remote selling.
Ability to build and maintain lasting relationships with customers.
Ability to undertake pricing calculations using basic mathematics.
Ability to occasionally travel and attend sales events or exhibitions.
Experience with customer relationship management software.
Experience using Microsoft Office 365 applications and systems.
