Role overview
The CyberArk Operations Support Analyst supports day-to-day operations of the CyberArk Privileged Access Management platform.
Responsibilities include managing infrastructure, monitoring system performance, and providing first-level support for privileged account management.
The role seeks foundational cybersecurity understanding and an interest in learning and growing in the field.
Key responsibilities
- Assist with CyberArk PAM administration and maintenance, including safes, platforms, and policies.
- Monitor environment health and performance and respond promptly to alerts.
- Provide first-level support for privileged account access, password checkouts, session management, and account onboarding.
- Participate in account onboarding in accordance with security policies and best practices.
- Work with the cybersecurity team on platform enhancements and updates.
- Document procedures, configurations, and incident reports; assist with user training and awareness programs.
- Support internal and external audits with relevant documentation and evidence.
- Stay current with CyberArk features and industry best practices; perform patching, upgrades, backups, and routine maintenance.
Preferred skills
- Basic cybersecurity knowledge and familiarity with Windows and Unix/Linux are preferred.
- Active Directory and LDAP knowledge is a plus; CyberArk or other PAM experience is beneficial but not required.
- Analytical, problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills are preferred.
- CyberArk Defender or Sentry certifications are desirable but not mandatory for entry-level applicants.
Education
- A bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, cybersecurity, or a related field is listed.
Work requirements
- Travel may be required.
- On-call support, occasional overtime, and shift work may be required.
