Global Sourcing Specialist II

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree from accredited college or university; and as a minimum three (3) years of procurement experience in the power generation industry; or eight (8) years of procurement experience; or any equivalent combination of experience and/or education from which comparable knowledge, skills and abilities have been achieved. MBA/ ISM/ APCIS Members/ CSCM or CPIM, preferred.
• Strong negotiation and contract management skills.
• Proficiency in procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite. Experience with SAP required. Excel experience with pivot tables, VLOOKUP’s and dashboards a plus. Windchill experience a plus.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, engineering drawings, engineering specifications for material, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
• Exceptional communication, strategic thinking, organizational skills and consistent constructive feedback given and received.
