Role Description
The Global Operations Manager will oversee day-to-day operational activities across multiple regions, ensuring that processes, systems, and teams function efficiently and consistently.
This part-time, hybrid role is based in Abu Dhabi, with a combination of on-site work and some work-from-home flexibility.
Key responsibilities include coordinating cross-border workflows, monitoring performance metrics, and implementing standard operating procedures that support service quality and scalability.
The role will also involve managing relationships with internal stakeholders, identifying process gaps, and driving continuous improvement initiatives.
The Global Operations Manager will collaborate closely with leadership to align operations with strategic goals, manage risks, and ensure compliance with relevant policies and regulations.
Qualifications
- Experience in operations management, including coordinating activities across multiple locations or regions.
- Strong skills in process design, optimization, and documentation, with the ability to implement and refine standard operating procedures.
- Proficiency in data analysis and reporting to track performance indicators, identify trends, and support decision-making.
- Demonstrated ability to manage cross-functional projects, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate with diverse, multicultural teams.
- Comfort using digital tools and platforms to support hybrid work, virtual collaboration, and workflow management.
- Proven problem-solving and critical-thinking skills, with a focus on continuous improvement and risk mitigation.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Operations Management, or a related field; an advanced degree or relevant certifications (e.g., PMP, Lean, Six Sigma) are an advantage.
- Previous experience in a regional or global operations leadership role is highly desirable, preferably in a service-oriented or multinational environment.
- Ability to work part time with flexible hours and to be physically present in Abu Dhabi as required for key meetings and operational oversight.
