🚀 Now Hiring | Global Markets Project Lead – FinMechanics Implementation 📍 UAE | 💼 2-Year Contract | 🏦 Banking & Financial Markets
We are partnering with a leading UAE bank on a strategic Global Markets transformation and are urgently seeking an experienced Global Markets Project Lead to drive the end-to-end implementation of the FinMechanics platform .
This is a high-visibility, senior engagement with direct impact on Treasury and Markets operations.
What You'll Be Doing
▸ Leading the full-cycle FinMechanics implementation — from front-office deal capture through pricing, risk, accounting, and regulatory reporting ▸ Acting as the bridge between FinMechanics, IT, Risk, Finance, and Front Office teams ▸ Translating strategy into executable product scope while educating Treasury & Markets stakeholders ▸ Engaging senior forums including ALCO, Risk Committees, and Senior Management ▸ Ensuring regulatory alignment with CBUAE standards — governance, model validation, auditability, and controls
What We're Looking For
✅ Deep expertise across:
- FX (Spot, Forwards, Swaps, Options – vanilla & structured)
- Interest Rate products (IRS, CIRS, FRAs, Caps/Floors)
- Fixed Income (Bonds, Repos, Bond Forwards)
- Derivatives valuation, Greeks, P&L attribution, hedge accounting
- Market risk (VaR, sensitivities, stress testing)
✅ Proven end-to-end delivery of markets technology implementations ✅ Ability to lead in a low-maturity business environment — avoiding over-customisation while maximising platform utilisation ✅ Confident senior stakeholder engagement and vendor management experience
⭐ Hands-on FinMechanics implementation experience is a strong differentiator.
