Role Overview

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and test integrations across connected enterprise systems.
• Own API configuration and integration design for each connected system.
• Run concurrent integration workstreams to keep delivery milestones on track.
• Test integration touchpoints end to end and deliver automated testing where possible.
• Align integration patterns with the target event-driven architecture.
• Troubleshoot integration issues across environments and escalate architectural risks.
• Document integration designs and configurations for maintainability and handover.

Requirements

• Demonstrable experience in integration engineering for large internal or enterprise platforms.
• Experience with integration design and API configuration across CRM, contracting, ERP, or HR systems.
• Hands-on backend development experience using Node.js.
• Working knowledge and experience of event-driven architecture, such as AWS EventBridge or message brokers.
• Strong knowledge of SDLC principles, CI/CD pipelines, and modern engineering practices.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills across engineering, product, and system-owner teams.
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.

Preferred Technologies

• Experience with MS Dynamics, SAP, and Azure Functions is advantageous.
• Relevant experience includes API configuration, integration testing, AWS EventBridge, and standard function engineering.

Workplace Expectations

• The role generally requires working from a BCG office or in person with clients on a regular basis, typically around 50% of working time, subject to business needs and local policies.
