Portfolio strategy and platforms
- Create and deliver the Legal Portfolio's vision, strategy and outcomes in partnership with portfolio leadership.
- Oversee key legal platforms, including contract lifecycle management, conflicts clearing, matter management and knowledge management, and ensure they operate cohesively.
- Monitor trends in legal technology, agentic AI and automation to identify opportunities.
- Ensure programs and chapter initiatives support portfolio risk, compliance and commercial ambitions.
- Assess strategic direction against global priorities and adapt to regulatory changes and technological innovation.
- Foster collaboration between Legal, Tech, Data and business functions so solutions are commercially aligned, technically sound and consistent with enterprise principles.
- Act as an escalation point for work spanning teams or systems and ensure alignment and timely issue resolution.
Technical direction and governance
- Guide platform and vendor selection and balance short-term delivery trade-offs with long-term capability building.
- Set and review SDLC best practices and technology and AI quality observability and health metrics.
- Align legal technology with BCG's architectural roadmap and enterprise architecture principles while adapting standards to portfolio needs.
- Partner with enterprise architecture, data, risk, security and compliance governance teams to support standards and alignment.
