Role overview

Key responsibilities

• File VAT, local withholding-tax, offshore-tax, and corporate-income-tax obligations accurately and ensure payment before deadlines.
• Manage month-end close, review the trial balance, follow the corporate calendar, and coordinate deadline extensions where needed.
• Provide data and insights to the GCC BSR team and support monthly and quarterly reviews with the Controller.
• Maintain fixed-asset reporting, including depreciation reviews, IFRS 16 calculations, reconciliations, and WBS settlements.
• Prepare monthly tax declarations, tax packs, and transfer-pricing reports; manage VAT, withholding-tax, and royalty compliance in coordination with EY and tax authorities.
• Maintain general ledger, cost center, WBS, and asset master data, and support Genpact and GCC with close and master-data activities.
• Automate and standardize reporting processes using SAP, Fiori, and BI reports.

Essential qualifications and skills

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or a related field.
• At least 5 years of progressive experience in financial controlling, month-end close, statutory reporting, and accounting in multinational organizations.
• Strong experience in audit, compliance, and internal controls, with knowledge of IFRS, local GAAP, tax regulations, and corporate policies.
• Strong compliance mindset, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Excel and Data Management Tool experience.

Preferred qualifications

• Hands-on experience with SAP, BISON, Cadency, and global reporting systems is preferred.
• A background in tax compliance, intercompany accounting, fixed assets, and inventory accounting is preferred.
• Audit experience is listed as preferred.
