- ***Core Responsibilities:***
- Subject Matter Expert - Compensation & Benefits / Reward & Recognition
- Own and lead the Compensation & Benefits (Rewards) agenda across assigned countries (10+), acting as the recognised subject matter expert for all reward-related matters.
- Implement and govern competitive, compliant and market‑aligned compensation structures, incentive schemes and benefit programs across multiple jurisdictions.
- Provide expert advisory support to local country HR Teams and senior leaders on reward strategy, pay decisions, job evaluations, grading, and remuneration risk.
- Lead annual salary review, bonus and incentive cycles, with special focus on budgeting, calibration, governance and execution.
- Oversee full compliance with local labour laws, tax regulations and social security requirements, partnering with local HR Managment Legal, Finance and Payroll as needed.
- Own job evaluation methodologies, market benchmarking and participation in external surveys (e.g. Mercer, Korn Ferry, etc).
- Support, and set where required, international mobility, expatriate compensation, allowances, tax equalisation and assignment‑related rewards frameworks.
- Drive continuous improvement of reward processes, policies and controls, leveraging HRIS and analytics to support data‑driven decisions.
- Partner closely with Corporate C&B, and other COEs to embed reward principles into workforce planning, talent decisions and organisational design.
- Execute international HR strategies aligned with the company's growth strategy while navigating varied regulatory, cultural, and economic landscapes.
Generalist HR
- Support organisational design and workforce planning initiatives for both green and brown field projects.
- Drive change management efforts related to mergers, acquisitions, restructuring, or digital transformation.
- Participate in designing and implementing employee engagement initiatives to foster a positive work culture and enhance employee satisfaction. Embed a culture of inclusion, ethics, safety, and performance across all terminals.
- Collaborate with the AD Ports Group’s other business units to identify international HR needs and coordinate process.
- Solve people related challenges in cooperation with country or terminal level HR management and teams.
- Where required, support the development of, and implement, HR strategies and policies and procedures to ensure effective HR functional performance and compliance across multiple territories and locations.
- Act as a trusted advisor to resolve international employee matters including, grievances, conflicts, and disciplinary matters ensuring fair and consistent application of policies, procedures, and programs in accordance with local laws and regulations.
- Maintain currency with changes in international employment instruments, and national laws and regulations affecting multi-national companies and advise management on necessary actions to maintain compliance. Consolidate employment related compliance reporting.
- Leverage the HRIS platform to provide data and HR intelligence and drive front line usage and data accuracy.
- Prepare regular international HR reports on key metrics and trends for front line business operations and identify patterns, trends, and areas for improvement.
- ***Strategic Responsibilities:***
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with front line HR Management and HR teams, Terminal Management teams and vendors, suppliers, consultants, and contractors.
- Support the development of continuous improvement working practices and process optimization initiatives in terminals.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- HR certifications (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR) is a plus.
- Proficiency in English (written and spoken).
- Proficiency in either French; Spanish/Portuguese; Arabic or Russian is advantageous.
- A minimum of 12-15 years of experience in a similar role
- Proven experience in a regional HR role, preferably in a global company or multinational organization.
- Centre Of Excellence team member experience in any one or more of the following functional specializations is required:

- In-depth knowledge of multinational employment standards and regulations and HR practices in multiple countries.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
- Demonstrated experience in matrix organization managing HR operations on multiple continents.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to leverage data for decision-making.
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
