Support Intelligent Transportation Systems projects in Qatar by preparing, managing, validating, and submitting GIS data for ITS assets.
GIS deliverables must comply with standards and project requirements.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare and update GIS data for ITS assets using ArcGIS.
- Ensure GIS databases and spatial data are accurate, complete, and high quality.
- Prepare GIS maps, drawings, and technical documentation.
- Validate GIS data against Ashghal standards and specifications.
- Coordinate with project teams to collect, review, and update ITS asset information.
- Submit GIS deliverables according to project requirements and deadlines.
- Maintain organized GIS records for project documentation and asset management.
Qualifications and skills
- Diploma or bachelor's degree in GIS, Geomatics, Surveying, or a related field.
- Hands-on ArcGIS experience and familiarity with Ashghal projects and GIS standards.
- Knowledge of GIS data management, spatial data editing, and mapping.
- Experience with ITS assets and infrastructure projects is preferred.
- Attention to detail, data accuracy, communication, and coordination skills.
- Ability to meet deadlines and work effectively within a team.
Work arrangement
- Work location is Qatar; work is in person.
