Recruitment overview

GIS Analyst duties

• Analyze and process spatial and non-spatial datasets; perform spatial analysis, data validation, and quality control.
• Create maps, layouts, reports, and GIS outputs; manage geodatabases and GIS layers.
• Work with coordinate systems, projections, and spatial references; correct data inconsistencies and topology errors.
• Prepare data for project and client deliverables, support project teams, and maintain accurate documentation and organized GIS datasets.

GIS Analyst preferred skills

• Good knowledge of ArcGIS Pro or ArcMap is preferred; QGIS experience is an advantage.
• Understanding of geodatabases, shapefiles, feature classes, spatial analysis, geoprocessing, map production, coordinate systems, and projections is preferred.

GIS Editor duties

• Digitize and edit GIS features from imagery, maps, drawings, and other source data; create or update points, lines, polygons, and attributes.
• Check geometry, topology, connectivity, and positional accuracy; correct dataset errors and inconsistencies.
• Maintain standardized naming, coding, and attribution; perform data cleaning and quality checks.
• Update geodatabases to project instructions, follow established workflows and specifications, and coordinate with analysts and project team members.

GIS Editor preferred skills

• Experience with ArcGIS Pro, ArcMap, or similar GIS software is preferred.
• GIS editing and digitization skills, understanding of topology and spatial-data accuracy, and ability to interpret imagery, maps, drawings, and related datasets are preferred.
• Attention to detail and accurate, efficient handling of repetitive editing tasks are preferred.

General requirements

• Bachelor's degree or diploma in GIS, Geomatics, Geography, Surveying, Remote Sensing, or a related field.
• Relevant practical GIS experience is required.
• Immediate joining is requested, and candidates must currently be present in the UAE.
