About This Role

Job Responsibilities

  • Collect, process, and analyse spatial data from multiple sources.
  • Develop, maintain, and optimize GIS databases, ensuring data accuracy.
  • Perform spatial analysis to identify trends and support decision-making.
  • Create detailed maps, reports, and visualizations using GIS tools.
  • Utilize GIS software like ArcGIS, QGIS, and remote sensing applications.
  • Support urban planning, environmental projects, and infrastructure development.
  • Automate spatial data processing and geodatabase management using Python and SQL.
  • Design and maintain web maps, dashboards, and GIS applications for stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with IT teams to integrate GIS solutions with enterprise systems.

Required Skills

  • Proficiency in ArcGIS (ArcMap, ArcGIS Pro) for spatial analysis and cartography.
  • Experience in geodatabase management (SQL Server, Oracle Spatial).
  • Strong knowledge of Python scripting (ArcPy) for GIS automation.
  • Familiarity with ArcGIS Online, Portal for ArcGIS, and web-based GIS applications.
  • Understanding of REST APIs for data integration and workflow optimization.
  • Expertise in spatial data formats, cartographic principles, and geospatial analytics.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to improve GIS workflows for enhanced efficiency.

& Experience

  • Bachelor s or Master s degree in Geography, GIS, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in ArcGIS Server and Desktop technologies.
  • Certifications such as Esri Technical Certification or GISCI GISP are a plus.
