GHG AUDITOR/SUSTAINIBILITY CONSULTANT

About This Role

GHG AUDITOR/SUSTAINIBILITY CONSULTANT Position: Consultant.

Will work as a Consultant & Lead Auditor that oversees and leads Advisory and certification projects in GHG, Climate Change/ Sustainability.

Supports the business development/ sales and marketing colleagues from enquiry to award stages for technical aspects, business risk management and informed decision making for effective costing & estimation for proposals & tenders.

Leads Assignments on advisory/ consulting, validation/verification activities that encompasses; planning, execution, and reporting for various products & portfolios under GES.

This role requires a robust technical expertise in Climate Change, ESG/ Sustainability principles, experience in verification projects, and demonstrated leadership of teams.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Execution of Advisory/ consulting projects in Sustainability and Climate change.
• Review (desktop or on-site) of project documentation and data to ensure completeness and accuracy.
• Validate the accuracy and completeness of data and compliance with applicable standards & project criterion.
• Leads teams in conducting site visits, data analysis, and interviews with relevant stakeholders.
• Prepares Technical reports & verification reports that accurately reflect findings and conclusions.
• Communicates Technical reports & verification results to clients and relevant stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.
• Ensures that project activities comply with relevant standards and internal quality assurance procedures.
• Manages client relationships and address client inquiries and concerns.
• Provides guidance and support to clients & business development/ sales colleagues on products/ service requirements and best practices.
• Demonstrate flexibility in learning new technologies, products/ services, offerings and adapting to emerging trends & client needs.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's/ Masters degree in engineering, environmental science, or a related field.
• Certification as Auditor" GHG Verifier or Lead Auditor from a recognized accreditation body.
• Experience in advisory/ consulting for Sustainability , GHG/ ESG Accounting.
• Demonstrated experience in Verification, Validation, Assurance as per ISO 14064 Standards, GRI Standards, and GHG Protocol.
• Preferably 8-12 years total experience & minimum of 3-5 years in Renewable Energy, Energy Audits, GHG/ESG validation/verification activities.
• Strong knowledge of Sustainability services, GHG accounting principles and GHG protocols.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to lead and work effectively in a team environment.
• Proficiency in MS Office and associated tools. Willingness to travel as required for Advisory/ consulting, Validation/verification assignments.
