Position summary
Leads Kamik’s business intelligence strategy to support data-driven decisions across the organization.
Provides leadership for analytics, reporting, data governance, and BI platforms while ensuring enterprise data integrity, quality, and accessibility.
Works with IT, Sales, Operations, Supply Chain, Finance, and Marketing to turn data into actionable insights.
Strategy and analytics
- Define and implement BI strategy aligned with corporate objectives; promote data-driven decision-making and identify ways to maximize enterprise data value.
- Oversee dashboards, KPIs, and management reporting; analyze trends, risks, and opportunities and advise senior leadership.
- Develop analytical solutions that improve operational efficiency and business performance.
Governance and transformation
- Ensure enterprise data quality, integrity, security, and governance; establish data management and reporting standards and practices.
- Support digital transformation, automation, and continuous improvement; partner with IT to optimize ERP, data warehouse, BI, and data architecture environments.
- Evaluate emerging technologies and analytical tools; prioritize BI initiatives and deliver within scope, budget, and business objectives.
Education and experience
- Bachelor’s degree in business intelligence, computer science, business administration, mathematics, statistics, engineering, or a related field.
- At least five years of progressive BI, data analytics, or data management experience, including several years specifically in a Power BI environment.
- Experience in manufacturing, distribution, or retail, and success leading analytics initiatives and digital transformation projects.
- A relevant master’s degree is an asset.
Leadership and key skills
- Strong understanding of ERP systems, relational databases, ETL processes, and data warehouse architecture.
- Demonstrated cross-functional collaboration and ability to influence senior decision-making with data and business insights.
- Strong project management, change management, continuous improvement, analytical, strategic planning, problem-solving, and communication capabilities.
- Fluency in spoken and written French and English; advanced knowledge of other BI platforms is an asset.
