Qualifications

• Essential qualifications:
• Hold a technician/technologist certificate or diploma from a recognized college
• 3-5 years’ experience in a geotechnical laboratory environment
• Registered (or eligible to register) with ASTTBC as an AScT or CTech
• A solid understanding of applicable ASTM standards for soil classification (USCS) and soil index testing. Knowledge of/or experience with advanced soil testing procedures or testing on rock would be an asset.
• Capable of lifting 23 kg (as required by the applicable test procedure)
• Valid Canadian driver’s license with access to a vehicle.
• Ability to live and work in Canada.
• Residing in British Columbia, or willing to relocate.
• Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive attitude.
• Effective communication and collaborative skills.
• Flexibility to work varying hours to meet project deadlines.
