Responsibilities
- Plan, execute, and supervise geotechnical site investigations, soil boring, and rock core sampling.
- Test soil, aggregate, rock, and concrete in the laboratory against ASTM and BS standards.
- Analyze geological data, interpret soil profiles, and prepare engineering and laboratory test reports.
- Coordinate with project managers, civil contractors, and site engineers to support foundation safety.
- Maintain and calibrate laboratory equipment to meet Dubai Municipality accreditation standards.
Candidate qualifications
- B.Sc. or M.Sc. in Geology or Applied Geology, or B.Tech or M.Tech in Geotechnical Engineering.
- Experience in a soil mechanics or construction materials testing laboratory, or in geological field investigations.
- Strong analytical mindset, familiarity with ASTM or BS standards, and robust report-writing skills.
- Ability to adapt to international standards and meet rigorous quality-control guidelines.
Compensation
- Pay is ₹30,000–₹80,000 per month.
