Overview
WE ARE HIRING – GEOLOGIST / SITE GEOLOGIST
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Geologist to join our geotechnical investigation team.
The ideal candidate will have experience in geological logging, site supervision, borehole documentation, and preparation of geotechnical data using GINT software.
The role involves close coordination with drilling crews, engineers, and project teams to ensure accurate field data collection and timely reporting.
Candidates should be comfortable working both on-site and in office environments, with strong technical reporting and organizational skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Geological logging of soil and rock samples during drilling operations
- Preparation of borehole logs and field documentation
- Site supervision and monitoring of drilling/site activities
- Coordinate field testing, sampling, and daily site operations
- Typing, data entry, and preparation of reports in GINT software
- Maintain accurate daily progress and quality control records
- Assist engineers with geotechnical and geological interpretations
- Ensure compliance with project specifications and safety procedures
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Geology or related field
- Experience in geotechnical/site investigation projects preferred
- Knowledge of borehole logging and field testing standards
- Working knowledge of geotechnical software (e.g.,LIMS, gINT, GeoStudio, PLAXIS).
- Strong reporting, typing, and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and manage field responsibilities
- Valid driver’s license is Must (for site visits, if required).
