Generator Service Technician

$25–$35 per hour based on experience

Commission and spiff opportunities that can get you to over $115K a year

Responsibilities

Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair Generac and other standby generator systems

Perform preventive maintenance, load bank testing, and transfer switch inspections

Recommend solutions that meet customer needs and ensure reliable backup power

Maintain inventory and materials on company vehicle

Complete service documentation and invoices accurately

Maintain company vehicles, tools, and equipment in good condition

Deliver exceptional customer service on every call

Qualifications

Minimum 3 years of generator or electrical/mechanical service experience

Hands-on experience with Generac air‑cooled or liquid‑cooled units preferred

Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills

Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record

Professional appearance and positive attitude

Excellent communication and customer service skills

Ability to lift up to 60 pounds
