Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Consultant General Surgeon .The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering expert surgical care, performing complex procedures, and overseeing patient management from pre-operative assessment to post-operative recovery.
This role demands clinical excellence, strong communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments and diagnose surgical conditions
- Conduct a broad range of general surgical procedures with precision and care
- Manage pre-operative and post-operative patient care to ensure optimal recovery
- Collaborate closely with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement effective treatment plans
- Educate patients and families about surgical procedures, risks, and recovery processes
- Participate in quality assurance activities and clinical governance
- Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with hospital standards
- Stay current with advancements in surgical methods and technologies
Requirements
- Medical degree from an accredited institution
- Completion of General Surgery residency program
- Board certification in General Surgery
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Consultant General Surgeon
- Proficient in performing diverse general surgical procedures
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a multidisciplinary team environment
- Strong organizational and decision-making abilities
- Fluency in English; additional language skills are advantageous
- Pay: AED50,000.00 - AED85,000.00 per month
