Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site General Supervisor role located in Doha, Qatar.
The General Supervisor will oversee daily construction activities, ensuring compliance with safety standards, project specifications, and schedules.
Responsibilities
include managing site operations, supervising teams, inspecting work quality, coordinating with contractors and stakeholders, and resolving on-site challenges.
The role also involves monitoring progress, preparing reports, and ensuring efficient use of resources to meet project goals within the set timelines and budgets.
Qualifications
- Strong leadership and team management skills to supervise site personnel and coordinate various teams.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, project specifications, and construction plans.
- Proficiency in project management, including scheduling, resource allocation, and work progress tracking.
- In-depth knowledge of safety regulations and quality standards in civil engineering and construction.
- Effective communication skills for collaboration with contractors, engineers, and stakeholders.
- Problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities to address on-site challenges efficiently.
- Relevant bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Experience in large-scale infrastructure or construction projects is highly advantageous.
- Proficiency in industry-specific software is a plus.
