Overview
We are looking for a skilled BYD Technician to join our Al-Futtaim Electric Mobility Aftersales team in the UAE.
The role will be responsible for carrying out periodic maintenance, diagnostics, and general repairs on BYD vehicles while ensuring high standards of quality, safety, productivity, and customer satisfaction.
The ideal candidate will have strong technical and mechanical skills, hands-on automotive repair experience, and a willingness to learn and grow within the electric vehicle business.
What You Will Do
- Carry out periodic maintenance, diagnostics, and general repair work on BYD vehicles
- Perform repairs in line with EV safety standards, workshop processes, and manufacturer guidelines
- Ensure work is completed right the first time and in line with Fix It Right standards
- Conduct accurate vehicle checks and support Electronic Vehicle Check reporting
- Follow health, safety, and 5S workshop standards at all times
- Achieve productivity, sold hours, and utilization targets set by the business
- Communicate clearly with team members, job controllers, and supervisors on repair progress and technical support needed
- Maintain a clean, professional, and organized working environment
