General Relief Operator (2nd Shift)

Preferred Qualifications

• Technical degree or certificate
• Fork lift certified
• 2+ years in a manufacturing operator role
• Physical Requirements:
• Can perform the essential functions of the job with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Frequent lifting/carrying (10-50 lbs) and pushing/pulling (50-300 lbs)
• Frequent bending, stooping, twisting, handling, and gripping.
• Ability to work at elevated heights, climb stairs, lean over equipment, and operate in confined spaces.
• Ability to stand and work on feet for extended periods, with shifts lasting 12 hours
• Capable of working in hot, cold and wet conditions
• Proficient in understanding, communicating, reading, and writing in English.
• What will be your key responsibilities?
• Monitor and manage the performance of multiple machines, processes, or pieces of equipment.
• Ensure proper documentation is maintained for quality and inventory control, including holding records, case samples, and shipping finished products.
• Operate and maintain push/pull lifts and forklifts
• Facilitate changeovers, optimize production lines, perform quality checks and audits, meet production schedules, report downtime, and minimize waste.
• Participate actively in continuous improvement initiatives within operations.
• Adhere to good hygiene, safety, quality, and manufacturing practices at all times.
• Troubleshoot equipment to ensure proper mechanical operation.
• Perform any ad hoc tasks as assigned
