Position Summary
The General Oral and Dental Surgeon will be responsible for diagnosing and treating a broad spectrum of oral and dental conditions primarily through surgical interventions.
The role requires attention to detail, excellent clinical skills, and a compassionate approach to patient care within a private healthcare setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive oral examinations and diagnostics to determine surgical needs
- Develop and execute individualized treatment plans for patients
- Perform various surgical procedures such as extractions, implants, and minor reconstructive surgeries
- Manage patient care before, during, and after surgery, including postoperative follow-up
- Educate patients on oral health, surgical procedures, and postoperative care
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure holistic patient care
- Maintain accurate patient records and comply with healthcare regulations
Requirements
- Degree in Dentistry (DDS or DMD) with specialization or certification in Oral and Dental Surgery
- Valid dental license and board certification applicable to practice in the private healthcare sector
- Minimum 3 years of experience as an Oral and Dental Surgeon in a clinical or private healthcare setting
- Proficiency in a range of general oral and dental surgical procedures
- Strong communication and patient management skills
- Ability to work effectively within a healthcare team
- Commitment to maintaining best practices and pursuing continuing education
