General Manager – US Truckload Operations

Role and company

What you will do

• Run daily operations across dispatchers, back office, and carriers.
• Hire, train, and lead the dispatch team as it grows.
• Own daily loads, profit-per-load, and collections metrics.
• Build routines and checklists so the team can operate without constant supervision.
• Plan the next 6–12 months with the owner and execute the plan.

Must have

• Experience managing a team of US truck dispatchers; experience as a dispatcher alone is not sufficient.
• Experience building routines and checklists that kept a team running without constant supervision.
• Knowledge of the full chain: booking, carriers, paperwork, invoicing, factoring, collections, fraud prevention, claims, reporting, falsified documents, and unethical business practices.
• Fluent spoken and written English is required.
• Communicate directly and use precise numbers rather than vague descriptions.

Additional advantages

• Experience growing an operation, with before-and-after results, is a plus.
• Experience with leased owner-operators and FMCSA compliance is a plus.
• Mandarin is a plus.

Location and hours
