  • Lead the regional Industrial Sales team across Industrial Gas and Industrial Fluids, including service sales, to deliver order intake, revenue and margin targets.
  • Drive pipeline discipline, forecast accuracy, pricing integrity and contract governance, and align revenue targets with delivery capacity and margin goals.
  • Work with the Sales Director – Industrial West to align regional sales strategy, key accounts, pricing governance and tools with global commercial direction.
  • Coach and develop the sales team, embedding value-based and solution selling and consistent use of CRM and the Armstrong sales process.
  • Service Partnership (Indirect Reporting)
  • Provide indirect leadership to the regional Service team, including Service Engineers and Service Coordinators, who report directly into the Global Services Manager – Industrial.
  • Work with the Global Services Manager to align service priorities, resource planning and customer commitments with regional needs and the Industrial P&L.
  • Support safe, high-quality service delivery, cost recovery and customer satisfaction, and the growth of aftermarket and installed-base service revenue in the region.
  • Ensure smooth handover between project delivery and Service.
  • Contribute to performance, development and succession discussions for the regional Service team with the Global Services Manager, and support local people matters, including apprentice and early-careers pipelines.
  • Solutions Development & Regional Enablement
  • Work with the region to support the development of Industrial solutions: capture customer needs and market insight, shape solution concepts with Product, Engineering and Applications, and take them through to compelling commercial offers.
  • Lead regional Sales and interface with the regional Engineering teams, working cohesively as one team to develop Industrial solutions and to move customers from the purchase of individual Armstrong products to fully integrated solutions that deliver greater value and a larger share of each opportunity.
  • Partner with the Global Product Specialists and Managers (Industrial Gas and Industrial Fluids), the Offering Manager and Industrial Applications Engineers so that regional requirements are reflected in offer and product roadmaps.
  • Lead the regional sales teams in qualifying, shaping and winning complex, long-cycle opportunities, ensuring offers are technically sound and commercially viable before submission.
  • Feed lessons from project delivery and service back into solution design, standardisation and cost improvement.
  • Identify opportunities for repeatable, standardised solutions that improve margin and shorten delivery times.
  • Stakeholder Engagement & Governance
  • Maintain a close working relationship with the Regional Manager, agreeing how Industrial oversight, priorities and resources are coordinated within the regional business.
  • Participate in global Industrial leadership forums and represent EMEA in performance reviews, planning and decision-making.
  • Work with the Global Engineering Manager and the Engineering and Controls teams, which report separately in the structure, to align technical standards, design practice, tools and priorities with regional delivery and solutions.
  • Act as a senior escalation point and relationship holder for key Industrial customers and partners in the region.
  • Collaborate with Finance, HR, Supply Chain, Quality and HSE to ensure the Industrial team is well supported.
