Role overview

Responsibilities

• Increase sales from simulator bookings, food and drinks, and golf leagues.
• Hire, train, and coach the social team, or manage the people who do so; review staff performance against daily business needs.
• Manage leagues, simulator bookings, events, building maintenance, food and drink service, and staff schedules.
• Own the guest experience and ensure staff provide service that exceeds expectations.
• Learn the venue's technology, golf lessons, leagues, memberships, and food and drinks offerings; use that knowledge to sell and recommend products.
• Manage the location's social P&L budget and control staffing and other operating costs.
• Build community relationships, customer loyalty, and repeat visits through local marketing and outreach.
• Work with the team toward business goals and communicate the location's needs to head office.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety rules and local laws, including alcohol service regulations.

Required qualifications

• Must currently live in Qatar or have at least 3 years of work experience in Qatar.
• At least 5 years of hospitality management experience, including 3 recent years as an Assistant Restaurant Manager or Restaurant Manager.
• Strong leadership and communication skills, with time management and organization abilities.
• Positive, energetic, and enthusiastic approach; able to think quickly and handle customer needs in a busy environment.
• Available to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
• Able to obtain licences and certificates required for the location.
• Fluent English is required; Arabic is a plus.

Pay and package

• Monthly salary; all-in package is QAR 12,000–16,000 per month.
• Package includes housing and transport allowances, private medical insurance for the employee, an annual flight home, 21 calendar days of annual leave, and 11 paid public holidays.

Schedule

• The role requires availability to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
