Role Description
This is a part-time, on-site General Manager role based in Dubai.
The General Manager will oversee daily branch operations, ensuring efficient delivery of banking services, compliance with internal policies, and adherence to local and international regulations.
Responsibilities
include leading and coaching teams, setting operational and financial objectives, monitoring performance, and driving customer satisfaction.
The role also involves managing key client relationships, supporting business development initiatives, and coordinating with headquarters on strategic and reporting requirements.
The General Manager will be expected to analyze branch performance, manage risks, optimize processes, and represent the bank in local business and regulatory forums.
Qualifications
- Proven leadership and people-management skills, including team development, performance management, and cross-functional collaboration.
- Strong banking and financial services knowledge, including retail and commercial banking operations, risk management, and regulatory compliance.
- Strategic and analytical skills to set goals, interpret financial and operational data, and implement process improvements.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills for working with clients, regulators, partners, and internal stakeholders.
- Experience in branch or business unit management within a bank or financial institution, preferably in the Middle East region.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field; an advanced degree or relevant certifications (e.g., MBA, CFA) are an advantage.
- High ethical standards, sound judgment, and the ability to make decisions under pressure while managing risk.
- Fluency in English; knowledge of Persian (Farsi) or Arabic is an asset.
