Program Overview

Internship Areas
Design Engineering: Develop planetarium display systems and immersive dome structures in Chadds Ford, Pennsylvania.
Software Engineering: Work on QA, media playback, full-stack tools, hardware integrations, and high-performance real-time systems.
Sales: Support prospecting, lead management, proposals, sales-cycle activities, and event execution at selected venues.
Audio, Video, and Lighting: Support audiovisual systems, lighting, and live production for immersive venue experiences.
Customer Service and Content Operations: Improve customer journeys, self-service tools, performance analysis, scheduling, and content planning.
Product Management: Assist with feature development, user experience improvements, and cross-functional work on B2B products and AI-enhanced tools.
Finance and Accounting: Support forecasting, reporting, performance analysis, accounts payable, reconciliations, and core accounting processes.
Production and Manufacturing: Support audio design, immersive content pipelines, post-production logistics, continuous improvement, and workflow efficiency.
Human Resources, IT, and Venue Operations: Support HR functions, venue technology infrastructure, guest-facing activations, feasibility research, and cross-functional planning.
Astrophysics and Marketing: Create astronomy content and educational materials, or support campaigns, communications, graphic design, and video editing.
General Qualifications
- Ideally be a junior or senior student at the start of the program.
- Be available to work 20 hours per week during the defined intern period.
- Be legally authorized to work in the United States.
- Have strong communication skills and attention to detail.
- Have an interest in immersive technology and content.
