The employer seeks an experienced foreman to supervise workers and technicians, oversee daily operations, and meet quality standards and deadlines.
Responsibilities
- Supervise workers, technicians, and skilled labourers; organize daily tasks and assign work.
- Read engineering and technical shop drawings; monitor measuring, cutting, shaping, installation, and finishing.
- Ensure work follows approved drawings and specifications, and check quality, measurement accuracy, and design compliance.
- Monitor factory and project-site workflow and schedules; coordinate with engineers, project managers, and site supervisors.
- Monitor material consumption, minimize waste, and prevent damage.
- Maintain discipline and productivity, resolve technical issues, and ensure occupational health and safety compliance.
Requirements
- At least four years of experience in supervision and workforce management.
- A valid UAE driving license is required.
- Ability to read and understand engineering and technical shop drawings.
- Strong leadership, task organization, production monitoring, communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and as part of a team.
- Marble and granite industry experience is preferred; knowledge of marble, granite, natural stones, and their properties is preferred.
Pay
- Pay is AED 3,000–4,000 per month.
