We are currently supporting a
major infrastructure investment platform
in the Middle East in the search for a
General Counsel
- to join its senior leadership team.
- The organisation develops and manages
- large-scale infrastructure concessions and PPP projects
- across multiple markets and is backed by significant institutional capital.
- This role will oversee the
- legal and contractual framework across a complex infrastructure portfolio
- , including concession agreements, EPC contracts, O&M structures, project financing arrangements, and multi-jurisdictional corporate entities.
- The position requires a
- highly commercial infrastructure lawyer
- who understands not only how to structure contracts, but how contractual decisions impact
- project economics, risk allocation and long-term asset performance
- .
- At any given time the legal function may oversee
- 200+ active contracts
- across the platform.
- Ideal background
- ****YOU MUST HAVE THE FOLLOWING EXPERIENCE TO BE CONSIDERED:****
- Infrastructure investment platforms
- PPP / concession structures
- Project finance
- EPC / major infrastructure contracting
- Multi-jurisdictional corporate structures
Experience
within leading infrastructure investors would be particularly relevant.
