Custodians are responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, appearance, and overall upkeep of assigned facilities.

This position performs a variety of cleaning and maintenance tasks to ensure a safe, sanitary, and welcoming environment for employees, visitors, and customers.

1st Shift Monday – Friday (Hours may vary based on facility needs)

• Sweep, dust, dust mop, damp mop, and vacuum floors.
• Extract carpets and perform floor care, including stripping and waxing floors.
• Collect and remove trash and recyclables.
• Clean and sanitize restrooms, locker rooms, and common areas.
• Clean desks, walls, furniture, doors, countertops, chalkboards, whiteboards, blinds, and light fixtures.
• Clean interior and exterior glass, windows, and entryways.
• Maintain areas within 10 feet of building entrances.
• Assist with snow and ice removal as needed.
• Follow established cleaning procedures and safety guidelines.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by the Custodial Supervisor or designated representative.

• Previous custodial or commercial cleaning experience is a plus.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment and follow directions.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality work.
• Reliable transportation.
• Ability to successfully pass a background check.

• Ability to reach, bend, stoop, kneel, and perform repetitive cleaning motions.
• Ability to push, pull, and lift up to 30 pounds.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
• Ability to work in a physically demanding, fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work in varying temperatures and weather conditions when required.

This position may require working indoors and outdoors in a variety of conditions, including exposure to hot and cold temperatures.
