Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Part-Time General Accountant to support the finance operations of our café business.
The ideal candidate should have prior experience in the Food & Beverage (F&B), café, restaurant, or QSR industry and possess strong knowledge of accounting principles, inventory reconciliation, and financial reporting.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain day-to-day accounting transactions in ERP/accounting software.
- Prepare journal entries, payment vouchers, and bank reconciliations.
- Monitor petty cash and expense claims.
- Assist & perform inventory reconciliation with stores and warehouses.
- Assist in monthly closing activities .
- Assist in VAT return filing as per UAE regulations.
- Coordinate with operations, procurement, and store managers regarding financial matters.
- Assist audits etc.
- Maintain proper accounting records and documentation.
- Ensure compliance with company financial policies and UAE accounting standards.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Commerce.
Experience
- Minimum **2–3 years** of accounting experience.
- At least 1 **years of experience in the F&B, Café, Restaurant, or QSR industry**.
- Experience with ERP/accounting software (Tally, Zoho Books, QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, etc.).
- Good understanding of UAE VAT regulations.
Skills Required
- Strong accounting and bookkeeping knowledge.
- Excellent MS Excel skills (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, formulas).
- Knowledge of inventory costing and stock reconciliation.
- Strong analytical and numerical skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- High level of integrity and confidentiality.
- Good time management and attention to detail.
Preferred Candidate Profile
- UAE experience in the F&B or hospitality sector.
- Available to join immediately or within a short notice period.
- Pay: AED2,250.00 - AED2,500.00 per month
