General Accountant/ HR

Key Responsibilities:Accounting Functions

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
• Process and reconcile daily transactions, invoices, and receipts.
• Manage payroll preparation and ensure accuracy in salary disbursement and statutory deductions (e.g., WPS, gratuity, end-of-service).
• Handle VAT filings, expense reports, and petty cash management.
• Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and cost control analysis.
• Coordinate with external auditors and provide necessary financial documentation.

Human Resources Functions

• Manage employee records and ensure HR documents are complete and compliant.
• Oversee recruitment, onboarding, and offboarding processes.
• Prepare employment contracts, offer letters, and HR-related correspondence.
• Track attendance, leave records, and employee schedules.
• Handle employee relations and address basic HR concerns or grievances.
• Ensure compliance with UAE labor law and company policies.
• Support management in developing HR policies and procedures.

Qualifications & Requirements

• **Education:** Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or Human Resource Management.
• **Experience:** Minimum 2–4 years of experience in combined Accounting and HR roles (UAE experience preferred).
• **Skills:**
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and HR procedures.
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Tally, Zoho Books) and MS Office, especially Excel.
• Familiarity with UAE labor laws, WPS, and payroll processing.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• High attention to detail and confidentiality.
• Ability to multitask and work independently with minimal supervision.
