Job Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced **General Accountant** to join our finance team.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, managing account reconciliations, and ensuring timely VAT filings.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform regular **bank reconciliations** to ensure financial accuracy
- Handle the **finalization of accounts** and monthly/year-end closings
- Prepare and file **VAT returns** in compliance with local regulations
- Manage **accounts payable and receivable** processes
- Assist with financial audits and ensure compliance with accounting standards
- Maintain general ledger and ensure accurate journal entries
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s/Masters degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Proven experience as an Accountant minimum 4+ years preferred)
- Strong knowledge of VAT regulations and accounting principles
- Proficiency in accounting software (Odoo, Tally, Excel, ERP systems)
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Driving License is a plus
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: AED3,000.00 - AED4,000.00 per month
