Hiring a general accountant for a construction-industry role.

Responsibilities
- Maintain daily accounting records and financial transactions.
- Handle accounts payable and receivable.
- Prepare and process supplier invoices, customer invoices, and payment vouchers.
- Monitor project expenses and maintain project-wise cost records.
- Assist with BOQ costing, material cost tracking, and project expense reconciliation.
- Manage petty cash, bank reconciliation, and cash flow records.
- Coordinate with suppliers, subcontractors, and project teams regarding invoices and payments.
- Assist with monthly financial reports and VAT-related documentation.
- Maintain accounting document files and supporting records.
Requirements
- 1–2 years of accounting experience in the construction industry.
- Knowledge of accounting software such as QuickBooks, Zoho Books, or similar systems.
- Good knowledge of MS Excel and basic accounting principles.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to join immediately.
Pay and employment
- The description states AED 2,000–4,000 per month and full-time employment.
